Overview
Beclomethasone dipropionate + formoterol fumarate + glycopyrronium (BDP/FF/G) is a fixed-dose triple combination therapy developed by Chiesi Farmaceutici for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. It consists of an inhaled corticosteroid (beclomethasone dipropionate), a long-acting β2-adrenergic receptor agonist (formoterol fumarate), and a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (glycopyrronium). The therapy is delivered via a pressurized metered-dose inhaler (pMDI) or dry powder inhaler (DPI) using an extrafine particle formulation, which allows for improved delivery to both large and small airways. Marketed under the brand name Trimbow, it was the first triple therapy approved in Europe for COPD and has since expanded its indications to include asthma.
