Overview

Becoril-L is a combination cough syrup developed and marketed by Ind Blues Pharma. It is formulated for the symptomatic relief of productive (chesty) coughs associated with bronchopulmonary disorders such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The formulation typically combines a mucolytic agent (Ambroxol) to thin and loosen thick mucus, an expectorant (Guaifenesin) to reduce mucus stickiness and facilitate expectoration, and a bronchodilator (Levosalbutamol) to relax airway smooth muscle and improve breathing. It may also contain levocetirizine to alleviate concurrent allergic symptoms like runny nose and sneezing.
