Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bedica is a standardized, pharmaceutical-grade cannabis chemovar (Cannabis sativa L. 'Talea') developed by Bedrocan International. Classified as an indica-type cannabis flower, it is produced under EU GMP-certified conditions to ensure a consistent chemical profile across batches. The product contains approximately 14% delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and less than 1% cannabidiol (CBD). Its terpene profile is characterized by high levels of myrcene, which is associated with sedating and calming effects. Bedica serves as a plant-derived active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and botanical raw material for medicinal cannabis programs, clinical research, and the development of pharmaceutical formulations. It is supplied in various forms, including whole dried flowers (flos) and granulated versions, to patients and researchers in multiple countries including the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Israel, Italy, Macedonia, and Poland.
