Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Beijiele (BR102) is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Bioray Laboratories that targets both interleukin-17A (IL-17A) and interleukin-17F (IL-17F). By neutralizing these two pro-inflammatory cytokines, Beijiele inhibits the IL-17 signaling pathway, which plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of various immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. The dual inhibition of IL-17A and IL-17F is intended to provide greater clinical efficacy than targeting IL-17A alone, as both isoforms contribute to the inflammatory response in tissues like the skin and joints. It is primarily being developed for the treatment of moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis and other spondyloarthritides.
