Beijing 0 is a pharmaceutical drug administered orally as tablets, primarily investigated for the treatment of primary hypertension. Clinical studies have demonstrated its efficacy in reducing both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Beyond its antihypertensive effects, Beijing 0 has also shown positive impacts on lipid profiles, including a decrease in total cholesterol (TC) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), and an increase in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C). However, it has also been associated with increases in triglycerides (TG), potassium (K+), and sodium (Na+). The drug is considered convenient, safe, and effective for managing mild to moderate primary hypertension. It was developed by Beijing Double-Crane Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd..
