Overview

BEL536 is a first-in-class, long-acting bispecific antibody targeting both OX40 ligand (OX40L) and interleukin-13 (IL-13), being developed for chronic inflammatory and immune-mediated diseases. By simultaneously blocking IL-13–driven type 2 inflammation and OX40L-mediated T cell costimulation, the molecule is designed to achieve rapid suppression of disease signs and symptoms while promoting deeper and more durable disease remission. BEL536 incorporates half-life extension engineering to enable infrequent subcutaneous dosing, and is being advanced in collaboration between Belenos Biosciences, which holds ex-China rights, and Keymed Biosciences, which originated and is conducting early clinical development of the asset.[1][2][6][9]
