Overview

BELERONAP is a CBD-focused cannabinoid formulation being developed by Apurano Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of psychiatric diseases. The drug is produced using the proprietary PuranoTec® manufacturing process, which creates a nanodispersion of poorly water-soluble cannabidiol (CBD) to enhance absorption. Administered as an oromucosal mouth spray, BELERONAP is designed to modulate the endocannabinoid system by interacting with cannabinoid receptors. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
