Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BELOTERO Soft Lidocaine is a sterile, viscoelastic, hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler developed by Merz Aesthetics and manufactured by Anteis SA. It is formulated using Cohesive Polydensified Matrix (CPM) and Dynamic Cross-Linking (DXL) technologies, which allow the gel to integrate seamlessly into the skin's dermal layers. The product contains 20 mg/ml of cross-linked sodium hyaluronate of non-animal origin and 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride, which serves as a local anesthetic to enhance patient comfort during the injection process. It is specifically indicated for the correction of superficial fine lines and wrinkles, such as perioral lines and crow's feet, as well as for deep skin hydration. The gel is typically injected into the superficial to mid-dermis, with aesthetic effects lasting between 6 to 18 months.
