Benanlofen is a novel non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and propionic acid derivative developed by Dalian Tianyu Pharmaceutical. It is designed for the management of acute and chronic pain conditions, including postoperative pain, cancer pain, and renal colic. The drug functions by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzymes COX-1 and COX-2, thereby reducing the production of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins.
