Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination of bendroflumethiazide, a thiazide diuretic, and amiloride, a potassium-sparing diuretic. This combination is used to treat hypertension while preventing excessive potassium loss that can occur with thiazide diuretics alone. Both components work on the kidneys - bendroflumethiazide increases urine output and reduces blood pressure, while amiloride prevents potassium excretion.
