Bepra is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medication containing rabeprazole sodium (20 mg), developed and marketed by the Egyptian company Global Napi Pharmaceuticals. It works by decreasing the amount of acid produced in the stomach through the inhibition of the gastric H+/K+-ATPase (proton pump). Bepra is approved for the treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), peptic ulcers (including gastric and duodenal ulcers), and is used in combination with antibiotics for the eradication of *Helicobacter pylori* infection. It is an oral small molecule drug intended for adult use.
