Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) is a citrus fruit primarily cultivated in Southern Italy. Extracts from its peel and juice, rich in flavonoids and polyphenols such as naringin, neohesperidin, and neoeriocitrin, are widely used as a dietary supplement.
