betalutin + rituximab

Betalutin + rituximab is an investigational combination therapy for B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, particularly follicular lymphoma, involving a radioimmunoconjugate (Betalutin: 177Lu-lilotomab satetraxetan) that targets the CD37 antigen on B-cells, and the anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody rituximab. Betalutin delivers targeted radiation to lymphoma cells via CD37, while rituximab enhances immune-mediated cell clearance by binding CD20. Preclinical and clinical studies show that the combination displays synergistic or additive anti-tumor activity, potentially reversing rituximab resistance by upregulating CD20 and enhancing rituximab’s efficacy.
