Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Betemar-CD3-TT3 is a preclinical-stage bispecific monoclonal antibody being developed by Betemar (Betta Pharmaceuticals). Functioning as a T-cell engager, the molecule is engineered to bind concurrently to the CD3 epsilon chain on T-lymphocytes and a specific tumor-associated antigen designated as TT3. This dual engagement facilitates the formation of an immunological synapse between cytotoxic T-cells and tumor cells, triggering T-cell activation and the subsequent release of cytolytic proteins such as perforins and granzymes to induce targeted tumor cell lysis. The program is part of an early-stage oncology pipeline focused on developing next-generation immunotherapies for solid tumors.
