bethanecol + omeprazole

This is a combination of two pharmaceutical drugs, bethanechol and omeprazole. Bethanechol is a cholinergic agonist that stimulates muscarinic receptors, primarily used to treat urinary retention by increasing bladder muscle tone and promoting urination. It may also be used for certain gastrointestinal conditions such as gastroparesis or postoperative ileus due to its prokinetic effects[3][4][5]. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, commonly indicated for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and other acid-related disorders[6].
