Overview
BETi-1 is an in-house bromodomain and extra-terminal (BET) inhibitor under development at the University of Gothenburg and Sahlgrenska University Hospital. It acts as an epigenetic modulator by inhibiting the reading of epigenetic modifications and blocking transcriptional activity. In preclinical studies, BETi-1 has demonstrated therapeutic potential against multiple myeloma, schwannoma, and neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1)-associated malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNST).
