Bev-ICG is an investigational **VEGF-A-targeted NIR-II fluorescent imaging probe** comprising the anti-VEGF-A monoclonal antibody bevacizumab covalently conjugated to indocyanine green. It is designed to bind VEGF-A-expressing abnormal gastrointestinal tissue and generate a near-infrared II fluorescence signal during endoscopy, enabling lesion detection rather than therapeutic treatment. The construct was evaluated in an orthotopic rat colorectal cancer model and is being clinically studied as a topically administered probe during endoscopy for gastrointestinal dysplasia, carcinoma, and polyps.
