Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of four drugs used in cancer treatment. Bevacizumab is an anti-angiogenic monoclonal antibody that targets vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Carboplatin and cisplatin are platinum-based chemotherapy agents. Pemetrexed is a multi-targeted anti-folate agent. In clinical practice, bevacizumab is typically combined with either carboplatin/pemetrexed or cisplatin/pemetrexed, but not with both platinum agents simultaneously.
