This combination has been studied in phase 2 and 3 clinical trials for its efficacy in increasing pathological complete response rates when used as neoadjuvant therapy for HER2-negative breast cancer[1][2][3]. The addition of bevacizumab to standard chemotherapy regimens has shown increased pathological complete response but with higher rates of certain toxicities such as neutropenia[1][2].
