bevacizumab + lenalidomide

Bevacizumab + lenalidomide is an investigational combination therapy consisting of two distinct agents used together for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and other cancers. Bevacizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby inhibiting angiogenesis, which restricts tumor blood supply and growth. Lenalidomide is an immunomodulatory small molecule with anti-angiogenic, anti-proliferative, and pro-apoptotic properties; it modulates the immune system and inhibits cytokine production. The combination has been evaluated in phase I clinical trials for safety and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced cancer, showing a tolerable safety profile and prolonged stable disease in selected tumor types[1][7]. This regimen remains investigational.
