Overview

Bevacizumab + mobocertinib is a combination therapy being investigated for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), particularly in patients with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations. Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody that selectively targets vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and inhibits angiogenesis mechanisms crucial in cancer progression. Mobocertinib is an oral EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor specifically designed to target EGFR exon 20 insertions. This combination has shown promise in treating patients with EGFR exon 20-mutated NSCLC who developed resistance to amivantamab.
