The combination has been studied as first-line therapy for advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) without EGFR, ALK, or ROS1 alterations. Clinical trials have shown improved progression-free survival and overall survival compared to standard regimens. The mechanism combines antiangiogenic effects, immune checkpoint blockade, and cytotoxic chemotherapy for synergistic antitumor activity[1][2][3].
