Overview
This is a combination regimen consisting of three agents: **Bevacizumab** is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), inhibiting angiogenesis and thereby reducing tumor blood supply. **Trabectedin** is a marine-derived alkaloid that binds to the minor groove of DNA, disrupting the cell cycle and exerting antiproliferative effects; it also modulates the tumor microenvironment. **Carboplatin** is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that forms DNA crosslinks, leading to apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. This combination has been investigated primarily in ovarian cancer and other solid tumors, aiming to leverage synergistic effects between antiangiogenic therapy (bevacizumab) and cytotoxic agents (trabectedin, carboplatin)[1][2][8].
