This refers to the concomitant administration of two distinct meningococcal vaccines, Bexsero (4CMenB) and Menveo (ACWY-CRM), as evaluated in a Phase II clinical trial led by Prof. Elizabeth Miller at Public Health England. Bexsero is a multicomponent vaccine designed to protect against serogroup B *Neisseria meningitidis*, containing four main antigens: factor H binding protein (fHbp), neisserial adhesin A (NadA), neisserial heparin binding antigen (NHBA), and porin A (PorA P1.4) in an outer membrane vesicle. Menveo is a quadrivalent conjugate vaccine targeting serogroups A, C, W-135, and Y, utilizing the CRM197 carrier protein. The combination is intended to provide broad protection against invasive meningococcal disease, particularly for individuals at high occupational risk, such as laboratory workers.
