This specific combination is in phase 1/2 clinical trials for metastatic colorectal cancer and is being developed and trialed by BeyondBio. The goal of the combination is to improve response rates and overcome resistance observed with current cytotoxic regimens through dual targeting of cell cycle and nucleic acid metabolism pathways[1][3][7].
