BG-10 is a preclinical-stage research program being developed by BioGate Precision Medicine, focusing on monoclonal antibody-based treatments targeting G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) for the treatment of pancreatic cancer and potentially other solid tumors. The program targets two distinct GPCRs: the BG-10-A antigen, which is highly overexpressed in pancreatic cancer and associated with poor prognosis, and the BG-10-B antigen, which is selectively expressed on tumor-infiltrating immune cells. By targeting BG-10-A, the therapy aims to inhibit tumor cell growth and metastasis, while targeting BG-10-B is designed to modulate the tumor microenvironment, overcome immune suppression, and enhance anti-tumor immune responses. BioGate is also considering the development of these antibody candidates as antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) to enhance therapeutic efficacy. Currently, biopanning of a human cDNA library and monoclonal antibody generation in animals have been completed.
