Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BG-C137 is an investigational anti-FGFR2b antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by BeiGene for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. The drug is designed to selectively target and bind to the Fibroblast growth factor receptor 2b (FGFR2b) isoform, a member of the fibroblast growth factor receptor family that is implicated in tumor growth and progression. Upon binding, the ADC delivers a cytotoxic payload directly to cancer cells expressing FGFR2b, aiming to enhance antitumor activity while minimizing off-target effects. BG-C137 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary antitumor efficacy in patients with advanced solid tumors.
