BG2305 is an investigational allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-modified gamma-delta (γδ) T-cell therapy being developed by Guangzhou Bio-gene Technology for the treatment of solid tumors. Utilizing the company's proprietary γδ T-cell platform, BG2305 is designed as an 'off-the-shelf' therapeutic product. Gamma-delta T cells are naturally MHC-unrestricted in their target recognition, which eliminates the risk of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in an allogeneic setting and allows for broad-spectrum tumor recognition and cytotoxicity. The specific tumor antigen targeted by the CAR construct in BG2305 has not been disclosed by the developer. The therapy is currently in preclinical development stages.
