Overview

BGB-26808 is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor targeting hematopoietic progenitor kinase 1 (HPK1; also known as mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase kinase 1, MAP4K1, or MEKKK1). By inhibiting HPK1, a serine/threonine enzyme that acts as an intracellular immunosuppressive regulator constraining T cell activation, BGB-26808 has potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic activities. It is currently under clinical development for the treatment of advanced and metastatic solid tumors. The drug is being evaluated both as monotherapy and in combination with the anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody tislelizumab[1][2][3][4][5].
