Overview
BGB-B455 + chemotherapy is an investigational combination therapy regimen being developed by BeiGene (now operating as BeOne Medicines for oncology programs) for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors that express Claudin 6 (CLDN6). BGB-B455 is a bispecific antibody designed to simultaneously bind CLDN6 on tumor cells and the CD3 receptor on T cells, thereby redirecting effector T cells to induce tumor cell lysis in a CLDN6-dependent manner. This combination approach, which pairs the T-cell engager with investigator-selected chemotherapy, is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial to assess safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary antitumor activity in patients with CLDN6-positive malignancies such as ovarian, endometrial, pancreatic, and germ cell tumors.
