Overview

BGT007 is a next-generation dual-target chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed for the treatment of various solid tumors, particularly gastrointestinal and nasopharyngeal cancers. It consists of human T lymphocytes genetically engineered to express a CAR targeting two undisclosed tumor-associated antigens. The drug is designed to enhance immunostimulatory and antineoplastic activity by enabling the modified T cells to recognize and kill cancer cells expressing either or both target antigens. Its mechanism involves immunologic cytotoxicity and replacement of native T lymphocytes with engineered ones capable of targeted tumor cell destruction. Clinical development has focused on recurrent/metastatic refractory digestive tract tumors, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, esophageal carcinoma, stomach cancer, and other gastrointestinal malignancies[1][3][4][5].
