Overview

BHV-2120 is an investigational, brain-penetrant, oral small-molecule inhibitor of transient receptor potential melastatin 3 (TRPM3), an ion channel. Developed by Biohaven, BHV-2120 is designed as a central TRPM3 antagonist for the treatment of epilepsy and pain. Preclinically, the compound has demonstrated potent and long-lasting antiseizure efficacy in rat maximal electroshock (MES) models. It is currently being advanced as a development candidate within Biohaven's discovery engine.
