Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BI0109 ADC is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting V-set domain-containing T-cell activation inhibitor 1 (B7-H4), currently in the discovery phase of development by Protheragen. B7-H4 is a member of the B7 family of immune checkpoint molecules and is frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors, including breast, ovarian, and endometrial cancers, while exhibiting limited expression in normal tissues. By targeting B7-H4, BI0109 ADC is designed to deliver a cytotoxic payload specifically to tumor cells, potentially overcoming immune evasion and providing a targeted therapeutic option for patients with B7-H4-positive solid malignancies.
