Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BiActive is a line of dietary supplements developed and manufactured by the Ukrainian pharmaceutical company Astrapharm. The product is primarily designed to restore and maintain a healthy balance of intestinal microflora, particularly in cases of dysbiosis resulting from antibiotic therapy, dietary changes, or digestive disturbances. The standard **BiActive** formulation is a synbiotic, combining probiotic microorganisms (such as *Lactobacillus acidophilus* and *Bifidobacterium animalis* subsp. *lactis*) with the prebiotic inulin, which serves as a nutrient source for beneficial bacteria. The **BiActive Detox** variant incorporates silicon dioxide, an enteral sorbent that facilitates the adsorption and elimination of endogenous and exogenous toxins, allergens, and metabolic byproducts from the gastrointestinal tract. Both versions are administered orally as a powder from sachets.
