BIC-2219 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to simultaneously target the CD19 and CD22 antigens, which are both frequently expressed on the surface of B-cell malignancies. Developed by Beijing Imunocure Biotechnology, BIC-2219 is engineered to overcome the limitations of single-target CAR-T therapies, such as antigen escape and subsequent disease relapse. By dual-targeting CD19 and CD22, the therapy aims to achieve more durable remissions in patients with B-cell lineage cancers. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and B-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (B-LBL), particularly in pediatric and adolescent populations.
