Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This probiotic combination consists of three specific bacterial strains: *Bifidobacterium animalis* subsp. *lactis* BLa80, *Bifidobacterium longum* BL21, and *Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus* LRa05 (formerly *Lactobacillus rhamnosus*). Developed by Wecare Probiotics, this consortium is designed to modulate the gut microbiota, enhance intestinal barrier function, and support systemic immune responses. The strains were selected for their high acid and bile salt resistance, as well as their ability to adhere to the intestinal mucosa and produce short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs). Clinical investigations have primarily focused on the combination's efficacy in improving gastrointestinal health, specifically addressing constipation and dysbiosis, while also exploring potential benefits in allergic rhinitis and immune function regulation.
