Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A quadruple-strain probiotic medicinal product composed of *Bifidobacterium infantis*, *Lactobacillus acidophilus*, *Enterococcus faecalis*, and *Bacillus cereus*. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of intestinal dysbiosis and associated symptoms such as acute or chronic diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal distension. The combination works synergistically: the anaerobic *Bifidobacterium* and *Lactobacillus* strains colonize the intestinal mucosa to form a biological barrier, while the aerobic *Bacillus cereus* and facultative anaerobic *Enterococcus faecalis* consume oxygen to create an environment conducive to the growth of beneficial anaerobic bacteria. It is widely used in China under the brand name Si Lian Kang, developed by Hangzhou Yuanda Biopharmaceutical.
