Overview

Combined live Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus, Enterococcus, and Bacillus cereus (CBLEB) is a probiotic drug widely used in China. [1] It is manufactured by Hangzhou Yuanda Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and formulated from four specific bacterial strains: *Bifidobacterium infantis* CGMCC0460.1, *Lactobacillus acidophilus* CGMCC0460.2, *Enterococcus faecalis* CGMCC0460.3, and *Bacillus cereus* CGMCC0460.4. [3, 5] This biologic therapy is available in tablet, capsule, and powder forms. The drug's mechanism of action involves modulating the intestinal microbiota and the gut-brain axis, which leads to the regulation of inflammatory cytokines (NF-κB, IL-1β, TNF-α) and the restoration of intestinal barrier function. [12, 13] It is approved in China for treating various conditions, including post-stroke depression, digestive system diseases, and preventing adverse reactions from chemotherapy and radiation. [3, 7, 12] The drug holds National Drug Approval No. S20227006 in China. [7]
