Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bifidobacterium triplex live bacteria capsule is a live biotherapeutic product widely used in China for the treatment of intestinal dysbiosis and as an adjunct therapy for *Helicobacter pylori* eradication. It typically contains three live bacterial strains: *Bifidobacterium longum*, *Lactobacillus acidophilus*, and *Enterococcus faecalis*. The mechanism involves restoring the balance of the intestinal microbiota, inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria through competitive exclusion and the production of organic acids, and modulating the host immune response. In clinical practice, it is frequently added to standard quadruple therapy for *H. pylori* to improve eradication rates and mitigate gastrointestinal side effects associated with antibiotic use.
