Overview

Bifidobacterium Quadruple Live Bacteria Powder is a combination live biotherapeutic product consisting of four distinct bacterial strains: *Bifidobacterium infantis*, *Lactobacillus acidophilus*, *Enterococcus faecalis*, and *Bacillus cereus*. Developed by Hangzhou Grand Biologic Pharmaceutical, this probiotic formulation is designed to restore and maintain a healthy balance of the intestinal microbiota. The constituent strains work synergistically to regulate gut function; *Bifidobacterium infantis*, *Lactobacillus acidophilus*, and *Enterococcus faecalis* are normal components of the human intestinal flora that colonize the gut and inhibit pathogenic bacteria, while *Bacillus cereus* consumes oxygen to create an anaerobic environment that promotes the growth and reproduction of anaerobic probiotics. The powder formulation is being evaluated in clinical trials, including a Phase II randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, for the treatment of functional constipation in children.
