Bifidobacterium quadruple live tablets is a probiotic combination therapy consisting of four live bacterial strains: *Bifidobacterium infantis*, *Lactobacillus acidophilus*, *Enterococcus faecalis*, and *Bacillus cereus*. It is primarily used to treat intestinal flora imbalance (dysbiosis) and associated conditions such as acute or chronic diarrhea and constipation. In clinical research, it is being evaluated as an adjunctive treatment for cirrhosis and spontaneous bacterial peritonitis (SBP) to reduce bacterial translocation from the gut, lower endotoxin levels, and prevent infection recurrence. The product works by colonizing the intestinal tract, producing organic acids that lower pH, and inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria while restoring the natural microbial barrier.
