Bifilac

Bifilac is a commercial synbiotic and multi-strain probiotic formulation widely used in clinical practice, particularly in India. The standard composition typically includes four probiotic strains: *Enterococcus faecalis* (T-110), *Clostridium butyricum* (TO-A), *Bacillus mesentericus* (TO-A), and *Bacillus coagulans* (historically labeled as *Lactobacillus sporogenes*). It is often formulated as a synbiotic by including prebiotics such as fructooligosaccharides (FOS). Bifilac is primarily indicated for managing gastrointestinal disorders, including acute rotaviral diarrhea, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and irritable bowel syndrome.
