Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BIL-221s is an investigational anticancer antibody being developed by Biosceptre to target a highly specific cancer-associated epitope that the company reports is present in at least 20 different tumor types.[3] It is one of Biosceptre’s pipeline products following proof-of-concept data with the related antibody BIL-010t and is being advanced into a phase I clinical trial in patients with a range of solid tumors in Australia, aiming to exploit selective tumor expression of its target to achieve antitumor activity with limited off‑tumor effects.[3]
