Overview

BIL06v is a therapeutic peptide-protein conjugate vaccine developed for the treatment of cancer, specifically advanced solid tumors. It is designed to stimulate the immune system to generate antibodies against non-functional P2X7 receptors (nfP2X7), which are expressed on cancer cells but not on most normal tissues. By targeting nfP2X7, BIL06v aims to induce an anti-tumor immune response and inhibit tumor growth. The vaccine is administered subcutaneously and has been evaluated in phase 1 clinical trials for safety, tolerability, immunogenicity, and anti-tumor activity in patients with advanced solid tumors[1][2][3][5][6].
