Bilateral Quadratus Lumborum Block

Bilateral Quadratus Lumborum Block (QLB) is a regional anesthetic technique utilized for postoperative pain management, particularly following abdominal surgeries such as cesarean sections. In the clinical trial context provided by Mahidol University, the procedure involves the bilateral administration of a local anesthetic, specifically 0.25% bupivacaine, into the fascial plane surrounding the quadratus lumborum muscle.
