Overview

BiME B Cell Depletion is a novel bispecific myeloid engager (BiME) molecule developed by Elpiscience for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. The therapeutic approach involves harnessing myeloid cells to selectively deplete B cells and other pathogenic immune cells, thereby restoring immune balance and preventing excessive immune activation. The molecule is designed to target Signal Regulatory Protein Alpha (SIRPα) on myeloid cells and a specific, undisclosed B-cell surface antigen (referred to as Target-X). By bridging these cells, the BiME molecule triggers myeloid-mediated destruction of the target B cells. This program represents a systemic and targeted approach to B-cell depletion therapy and is currently in the discovery or early preclinical stage of development.
