Overview

Binaotong is a botanical nasal spray developed by Beijing Qifu Ruicao Medical Technology for the acute treatment of migraine, specifically those characterized by Blood Stasis Syndrome in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Positioned as a fast-acting analgesic, the drug is administered intranasally to provide rapid relief of migraine symptoms by leveraging the high vascularity of the nasal mucosa for direct absorption. It has undergone Phase II clinical trials in China to determine optimal dosing regimens and evaluate its safety and efficacy profile. As a Class 6.1 New Chinese Medicine, it represents a standardized herbal formulation designed for acute pain management in migraine patients.
