Overview

**BIND-510** is a PSMA-targeted Accurin nanomedicine developed by BIND Therapeutics, encapsulating vincristine, a potent microtubule inhibitor, to improve its pharmacokinetics, tumor accumulation, tolerability, and anti-tumor activity compared to conventional vincristine sulfate, which is limited by dose-limiting peripheral neuropathy. Preclinical studies demonstrated superior tumor growth inhibition in models of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, breast carcinoma, prostate cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer, with higher drug concentrations at tumor sites (e.g., 8-fold in nasopharyngeal tumors) and the ability to dose at higher levels due to reduced toxicity. It was advanced through preclinical gating studies toward an IND filing but was ultimately discontinued.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][19]
