Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of binimetinib (a MEK inhibitor), cisplatin (a platinum-based chemotherapy agent), and pemetrexed (a folate analog). This regimen was studied in a phase 1B clinical trial for patients with KRAS-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The treatment protocol involved 4 cycles of cisplatin 75 mg/m², pemetrexed 500 mg/m², and binimetinib (30 or 45 mg orally twice daily) followed by maintenance therapy with pemetrexed and binimetinib until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.
