Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BIO-THREE Hi錠 (Bio-Three Hi Tablets) is an oral probiotic formulation developed by TOA Biopharma and distributed by Alinamin Pharmaceutical. It is classified as a designated quasi-drug in Japan and is indicated for the regulation of intestinal flora, relief of constipation, loose stools, and abdominal bloating. The formulation contains three symbiotic active bacterial strains: Clostridium butyricum TO-A (butyric acid bacteria), Enterococcus faecalis T-110 (lactic acid bacteria), and Bacillus mesentericus TO-A (saccharifying bacteria). These three strains work synergistically throughout the small and large intestines to promote the growth of beneficial bacteria (such as Bifidobacterium), inhibit pathogenic bacteria, and produce butyric acid and lactic acid to support the intestinal barrier and maintain gastrointestinal homeostasis.
